O1 Visa Lawyer

O-1 and Talent-Based Visa Attorney

The Law Office of Abhisha Parikh helps extraordinary talent across the United States secure visas and green cards. Through virtual consultations and dedicated support, we guide artists, scientists, business professionals, and athletes through complex immigration processes.

Talent-Based Immigration Options

O-1 Visas

O-1A visas cater to individuals with extraordinary ability in science, education, business, or athletics, requiring evidence of sustained national or international acclaim. O-1B visas serve artists and entertainers who have achieved distinction in their field. The motion picture and television industry has specific O-1B criteria, recognizing outstanding achievements through awards, box office success, or critical recognition.

EB-1 Green Cards

This permanent residence pathway includes three distinct categories:

  • EB-1A Extraordinary Ability: For individuals with international recognition, who can self-petition without employer sponsorship. Must show sustained acclaim through major awards or at least 3 of 10 qualifying criteria
  • EB-1B Outstanding Researchers: For internationally recognized researchers/professors with at least 3 years experience. Requires employer sponsorship and evidence of outstanding achievements
  • EB-1C Multinational Managers: For executives/managers transferring from international companies to U.S. offices. Must have worked abroad for 1 year in past 3 years in managerial capacity

EB-2 Options

This category offers two pathways:

  • EB-2 Advanced Degree: Requires employer sponsorship, job requiring advanced degree (master’s or higher), and labor certification. Must prove no qualified U.S. workers are available
  • EB-2 National Interest Waiver: Allows self-petition without employer or labor certification. Must prove work has substantial merit, national importance, and that waiving regular requirements benefits U.S. interests

EB-3 Professional Workers

This category serves positions requiring bachelor’s degrees or skilled work experience. Professional workers need formal degrees matching their job requirements. Skilled workers must demonstrate at least two years of job-specific training or experience. All positions require labor certification confirming no qualified U.S. workers are available.
